Baracoa Cuban Restaurant

Tony Castro has done his family proud! Great selections of incredible Cuban food. The ceviche is great and the ox tail is so tasty. You will want to try everything on the menu.

My wife and were looking for something different tonight, and decided to give this restaurant a try. We've never tried Cuban food, so this was kinda adventurous, in a way. The food was amazing! So much flavor, exploding with each bite! We tried the " Tour of Cuba" dinner for two, with shrimp, pork, and chicken. Each dish was very unique, and had distinctive flavors that paired well with the rice, black beans and fried plantains. We did save room for desert, and I had the banana bourbon toffee cake, which was decadent, and my wife had the best flan, that she's ever had! The staff was top notch, and very attentive. This place is a hidden gem! Thank you for a perfect dinner date with my wife. I will gladly recommend this wonderful place, to everyone I know.

Great food and great ambiance. Portions are also plentiful! However, service could have been improved - we sat for quite some time with our menus waiting for someone to take our drink and food orders. And after we ordered and our food was brought out (rather quickly, which was nice), the waitress forgot to bring our requested hot sauce and it took a while to get her attention to remind her to bring it out. At the end of our meal it took a while to get her attention in order to obtain our check. Would return for the food and ambiance, but would probably not return on a weekend evening as I think they’re too busy for the waitstaff service they have available so the evening becomes a waiting game.
